2025 Ford Explorer Engine Specs
The two 2025 Ford Explorer engine options are both energetic choices. Both can be equipped with either rear-wheel drive (RWD) or four-wheel drive (4WD), and both are standard with a ten-speed automatic transmission. A Terrain Management System™ is standard and comes with selectable drive modes so you can handle the roads and trails with confidence. Plus, you’ll be able to tow up to 5,000 pounds thanks to the Class III Trailer Tow Package.
