There are two vigorous 2025 Ford Bronco Sport engine options available, each equipped with 4x4 and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 1.5L EcoBoost engine is standard, with the 2.0L EcoBoost becoming standard on the top Badlands® trim. If you opt for the Badlands trim with the 2.0L EcoBoost, it comes with an advanced 4x4 system with a twin-clutch rear-drive unit that can send power to a single rear wheel when traction is lost for the other three wheels. Handle off-roading with confidence thanks to up to seven G.O.A.T. Modes — normal, eco, sport, slippery, off-road, rock crawl, and rally.
Planning to tow? With the Class II Trailer Tow package, the Badlands can tow up to 2,700 pounds. All other trims equipped with this package can achieve a towing capacity of up to 2,200 pounds.
